Vinh City locks down 24 households linked to new Covid-19 cases.
(Baonghean.vn) - Among the 14 new Covid-19 cases in Nghe An province, 3 are community cases, all in Vinh City.
On the afternoon of October 22nd,Nghe AnFourteen new Covid-19 cases were recorded in eight localities, including three community cases in Vinh City, comprising two cases in Ha Huy Tap ward and one case in Hung Dung ward.
In Ha Huy Tap ward, the two patients are a mother and daughter residing on Nguyen Truong Khoat street, Yen Hoa block. Local authorities have sealed off 14 households with 30 residents and are taking samples for testing from all residents in the area.

It is known that the mother sells clothes on Dinh Le Street, Hung Dung Ward. Therefore, on the afternoon of October 22nd,Hung Dung wardThey also sealed off the patient's kiosk as well as neighboring kiosks.
According to initial epidemiological investigations, this patient, aside from working at the store, had rarely gone out or had contact with other people recently. Ha Huy Tap ward is currently focusing on investigating and tracing those who have been in contact with the patient in order to quarantine them according to regulations.
In Hung Dung ward, the Covid-19 patient lives on the 20th floor of the Muong Thanh Cua Dong apartment building. Hung Dung ward authorities have sealed off 10 apartments on this floor and taken samples for testing from all residents on the afternoon of October 22nd.

Information on 3 community infections as of the afternoon of October 22nd:
1. Patient PV Đ, male, born in 1986. Address: Trung Hung block, Hung Dung ward, Vinh City. On October 17th, the patient underwent a routine rapid test with a negative result. On October 21st, a sample was taken for routine testing and sent to the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital. On October 22nd, the test result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2.
2. Patient PT L, female, born in 1988. Address: Yen Hoa block, Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh City. On October 22nd, the patient developed symptoms of fever and fatigue, so she went to the Ha Huy Tap ward health station for examination. There, a rapid test was taken, which yielded a positive result. Subsequently, the patient was isolated at the health station and a sample was taken and sent to the CDC for confirmatory testing, which confirmed a positive result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
3. Patient V. D. T, male, born in 2015. Address: Yen Hoa block, Ha Huy Tap ward, Vinh City. The patient is the son of patient PT L, who was announced at the same time. Immediately after the patient's mother tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the patient's sample was sent to the CDC, which also confirmed a positive result for SARS-CoV-2.
