According to the reporter's records, on August 10, the workers carried outdead fishat the lake bed. After being scooped up, the fish were buried and sprinkled with lime powder to ensure the environment. According to a representative of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Vinh City, the cause of the mass fish deaths is due to the prolonged hot weather, the high water temperature causing the fish to go into heat shock and die.
