Besides familiar locations, Ho Chi Minh City is launching a series of large-scale amusement parks, cultural parks, and spring flower festivals such as Sun World Vung Tau and Can Gio Spring Festival.
Ho Chi Minh City has just launched a series of new entertainment venues and cultural parks to serve residents and tourists during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. These destinations not only offer vibrant photo opportunities but also integrate many modern cultural, sports, and entertainment experiences, promising to create a major attraction for the city's tourism.
Ly Thai To Park No. 1: A cultural space in the heart of the city.
Located at 1 Ly Thai To Street, Vuon Lai Ward (formerly District 10), Ly Thai To Park has become a popular destination for visitors since its opening. With its vast green space, the park boasts meticulous attention to detail, from ancient trees and lush vegetation to sports and recreational areas.

A special highlight of the park is the COVID-19 Victims Memorial, featuring a teardrop-shaped monument in the center. Additionally, the old villas within the park grounds have been restored to serve as exhibition spaces and a community library.
This Lunar New Year, the entire area of over 4 hectares of the park is dedicated to the Binh Ngo Spring Flower Festival. With nearly 30,000 trees and flower pots, the space is divided into 12 miniature scenes reflecting the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year.


Can Gio Spring Festival: Experience hot air balloon rides and a 150-year-old apricot tree.
The Can Gio Spring Festival, held at Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio, took place from February 7th to February 28th. The event featured a system of entrance gates and large-scale artistic displays depicting the Year of the Horse, creating a vibrant atmosphere characteristic of the Southern Tet (Lunar New Year) celebration.

The centerpiece of the festival is a 150-year-old Phu Quy apricot tree transported from An Giang, recognized as the largest ancient yellow apricot tree in the Western region of Vietnam today. In addition, the spring flower festival area also features 300 peach trees and 300 yellow apricot trees.

Visitors here have the opportunity to experience panoramic views of the sea and forests of Can Gio from above in a hot air balloon or participate in paragliding. Stalls selling regional specialties, traditional bamboo pole dancing, lion and dragon dances, and making banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) are also organized to cater to families and young people.

Sun World Vung Tau Water Park in Ho Chi Minh City
Opened on the 25th day of the 12th lunar month (February 12th), Sun World Vung Tau is a leading modern seaside water park in the Southeast region of Vietnam. The 15-hectare park features four themed zones recreating the culture of Southern floating markets, European sea voyages, and the culture of Oc Eo – Funan.

This place boasts nearly 100 high-speed slides, including a 348-meter-long roller coaster (among the longest in Asia) and a 6,000-square-meter wave pool. The accompanying amenities include a chain of buffet restaurants and food outlets, catering to visitors' entertainment and relaxation needs throughout the day.

During the 2026 Lunar New Year, the park was decorated with over 10,000 coconut trees and thousands of flowering plants, located in Blanca City urban area, 3 Tháng 2 Street, Phước Thắng Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Saigon Marina IFC Flower Park
Located right next to Ba Son station, Saigon Marina IFC flower park is a must-visit destination with its impressive landscape architecture and art installations along the Saigon River. It's an ideal spot for people to visit and take photos every day.
