(Baonghean.vn) – After the victory over the UAE, Coach Park Hang-seo spent a lot of time answering questions from reporters from Vietnam, the UAE and Korea. The head coach of the Vietnam national team especially appreciated Tuan Anh and Tien Linh.
Commenting on the UAE team, Coach Park said: “I have carefully investigated the UAE coach’s playing style. He tends to focus on defensive counter-attacks. Coach Bert van Marwijk often analyzes the opponent’s playing style very carefully and will strongly attack that weakness.
Today, the UAE team focused on the midfield with many midfielders. The false striker was more active than the striker. When going down the wing, they often crossed very quickly. Today, we predicted the UAE's style of play correctly and stopped the opponent."
Answering reporters from Nghe An Newspaper about his team's tactics and the formations of his opponents in Group G, Coach Park said: "The formation is just a calculation of numbers. We use the current formation to maximize the strength of the players. I don't care about 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1, I just do my best to optimize the players.
Many people talk about the 4-back or 3-back formation and the fact that 3-backs are common in the Premier League. The important thing is that my players understand the formation. I don't understand why people recommend 4-backs. If anyone gives advice and it works, I will change to 4-backs immediately."
“This was a match that had easy moments, but also difficult moments. Overall, the players completed their tasks in each position. I would like to thank the players. Regarding Cong Phuong’s performance, I have great confidence in his ability,” coach Park Hang-seo said about Cong Phuong.
In addition, Coach Park expressed his satisfaction with Tuan Anh's performance. He said: "Today we have a meaningful match with UAE, a match for the top position in the group between Vietnam, UAE and Thailand. We played at home and won thanks to the efforts of all the players.

Tien Linh scored in the win over Indonesia and today as well. He is currently the most promising young striker in Vietnam. He will participate in the match against Thailand and compete in the upcoming 30th SEA Games. Today he met the expectations of me and the coaching staff. I congratulate Tien Linh on today's valuable goal."
Regarding Tuan Anh, Coach Park said: “Since the match against Afghanistan, I have always followed Tuan Anh, he is a talent of Vietnamese football. Many times I wanted to call him up but unfortunately he was injured. I don’t think I revived him but Tuan Anh revived himself and was helped by many other coaches. He is a real talent and has a strong will.”
Looking ahead, the Korean coach shared: “The Vietnam national team still has 4 more matches, the road ahead is still very long. Most recently, the Vietnam national team will have an important match with a big opponent, the Thailand national team, on November 19. The players will celebrate the victory today, but only today. Tomorrow, everyone must start preparing for the next match. They are an important opponent and also the biggest opponent of the Vietnam national team this year.

A UAE reporter asked about the red card, Coach Park answered, making all the reporters present excited: “If you are a UAE reporter, it is right for you to ask about the red card. And perhaps you are not happy about the red card, right? However, in my opinion, the referee was right to give the red card in that situation. If there was no foul, the Vietnam team would have scored a goal. I also regret that we could not take advantage of that situation.”

Regarding coach Bert van Marwijk, the Dutch strategist was not satisfied with the red card but highly appreciated the playing style and was surprised by the Vietnam team. He said: “Vietnam is a very good team. We knew that before the match. As I said before the match, the Vietnam team has the ability to operate the system very well.
I find that interesting. The home team's defense also played very well. When I sit here, I talk about the team, about tactics, not about individuals. Vietnam played a good game and have a great chance to go through.
Coach Bert van Marwijk expressed his disappointment with the Japanese referee's decision to show him a red card: "I am extremely disappointed with the red card and that decided the match. However, I am still very proud of the way the team played today even though we did not deserve this result. Regarding the red card, I watched it again, two players fell at the same time.
It was not a mistake. I have never seen a referee give a red card so quickly. We tried and created chances. But this game is about moments, including the goal. VAR is not there.
I was shocked when the referee showed the red card. It was a decisive moment. We have to analyse it. We played well. I am very disappointed with the result. But I am satisfied with the team's performance."
(Baonghean.vn) - Against a team that was considered stronger, the Vietnamese national team played with awareness and achieved a very important victory thanks to Tien Linh's masterpiece.
