Dien Chau Traffic Police Station arrested 2 subjects illegally transporting drugs
Through patrolling and controlling, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, under the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, discovered and arrested 2 subjects for the act of "Illegally transporting drugs".
At about 12:40 on November 6, while patrolling and controlling National Highway 1A, through Trung Yen hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station received a report that two male subjects were driving a motorbike in the North-South direction, showing signs of suspicion of transporting drugs.
After screening the subjects, the working group stopped a Honda motorbike with license plate 37F2 - 603.18, driven by Cao The Quy (born in 1993) carrying Ho Nhan Phuong (born in 1988), both residing in Dien Trung commune, Dien Chau district, for inspection.
Through that, it was discovered that in Cao The Quy's jacket pocket there was a blue plastic bag containing 200 pink tablets and 2 white tablets. After a quick fight, the subject confessed that it was drugs.
The working group sealed and temporarily seized the exhibits and vehicles, made a record of the arrest of the criminals and handed them over to the Investigation Police Agency, Dien Chau District Police for further investigation and handling.
