Dien Chau Traffic Police Station arrested two individuals for illegally transporting narcotics.
Through patrols and inspections, the task force of the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, under the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, discovered and arrested two individuals for the crime of "illegally transporting narcotics".
At approximately 12:40 PM on November 6th, during a patrol on National Highway 1A, in the Trung Yen hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, the task force of the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station received a report that two male individuals driving a motorcycle in the North-South direction showed suspicious signs of transporting drugs.
After screening the suspects, the task force stopped a Honda motorcycle with license plate 37F2 - 603.18, driven by Cao The Quy (born in 1993) and carrying Ho Nhan Phuong (born in 1988), both residing in Dien Trung commune, Dien Chau district, for inspection.
During the inspection, authorities discovered a blue plastic bag in Cao The Quy's jacket pocket containing 200 pink tablets and 2 white tablets. Upon quick questioning, the suspect admitted that these were drugs.
The task force proceeded to seal and temporarily seize the evidence and vehicles, draw up a report on the arrest of the offenders, and hand them over to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dien Chau District Police for further investigation and processing.
