After winning the laurel wreath, Tran Bui Bao Khanh shared that this victory is a source of pride for his family, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, and the capital city of Hanoi.
Tran Bui Bao Khanh, a student from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, brilliantly won the laurel wreath in the final round of the 25th season of the "Road to Olympia" competition. Immediately after his victory, the male student shared his initial feelings and the significance of this achievement.
Victory for the Capital City
Sharing her thoughts immediately after being crowned, Bao Khanh affirmed that the laurel wreath was not only a personal achievement but also a shared pride of her family, school, and the capital city of Hanoi, especially on the occasion of the school's 40th anniversary.
“I think this championship is not only a victory for myself, my family, and my friends, but also a victory for the school and for Hanoi – the capital city with a thousand years of history and culture,” Bao Khanh expressed. “It proves that students of the capital are studious, dynamic, creative, and ready to win the glory they deserve.”
A message of gratitude to family.
Looking back on his journey, the new champion emotionally expressed his deepest gratitude to his loved ones who have always been by his side and supported him. “First and foremost, I want to express my greatest thanks to my parents, who have worked so hard to raise me. Without the sacrifices and love of my family, I wouldn’t have been able to win this laurel wreath,” the student shared.
Bao Khanh also said that his family had created all the conditions for him to both study and have the opportunity to experience and broaden his understanding of culture and society, while simultaneously training his health and mental fortitude for the competition.
The complete joy of a grandfather
Present at the Hanoi venue, Bao Khanh's maternal grandfather couldn't hide his pride. He shared a special story, connecting his grandson's victory to important historical milestones.
“Fifty years ago, I was a young man who went to fight to defend the Fatherland. Today, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the nation, the 25th anniversary of the 'Road to Olympia' competition, and the 40th anniversary of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, my grandson won the championship. This joy is truly complete,” he recounted.
Future plans and the Olympia spirit
When asked about his future plans, Bao Khanh innocently revealed that his immediate intention is to "go out for a celebratory meal to unwind." As for his more distant dreams, he wants to keep them a "little secret" for everyone to look forward to.
Other finalists also shared their personal plans. Thanh Tung expressed his views on self-improvement in various fields, Duy Khoa planned to dedicate time to his passion for music, and Nhut Lam affirmed that he would always maintain the Olympia spirit of "study hard, play hard."
Tran Bui Bao Khanh's victory is not only an outstanding individual achievement but also an inspiration, affirming the character, intelligence, and studious spirit of the young generation of Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular.
