Tran Thanh's manager has officially responded on behalf of the artist regarding the alleged uncivilized behavior at the movie theater.

Social media is abuzz with information about artist Tran Thanh's uncivilized behavior at a movie theater on the evening of March 2nd. According to a post on the Facebook account NV, he and his girlfriend went to a movie theater in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, to buy tickets for a late-night screening.

Both of them lined up to buy tickets as per regulations, followed by the group including Tran Thanh, Uyen An, Ali Hoang Duong, and Ly Hao Manh Quynh. Afterward, Tran Thanh was given priority by the cinema staff and invited to the next counter to buy tickets.

Accordingly, the male artist requested to buy all the tickets for the screening. Claiming that he arrived first, the staff member suggested that Tran Thanh give up two tickets, but the artist refused, citing the need for privacy.

Therefore, the user NV expressed disappointment with Tran Thanh's behavior, saying that the artist acted uncivilly and did not live up to the moralistic pronouncements he made on television.

The photo was taken by an employee and accompanied by information accusing Tran Thanh of uncivilized behavior.

Ms. Duong Ngoc Quynh Hoa, the manager of artist Tran Thanh, has officially spoken out about the incident. She stated that Tran Thanh had previously planned to go to the movies to relax with family and friends.

The screening at 11:10 PM on March 2nd was specifically requested by Tran Thanh earlier that morning. He always takes the initiative to book the theater whenever he goes to the movies with family and friends.

According to Ms. Hoa, when Tran Thanh arrived, the theater staff invited his group to another line to pick up their pre-ordered tickets. "Mr. Thanh was queuing to pick up his pre-ordered tickets, not waiting to buy them as the current misinformation suggests. He still has the ticket booking message with the theater manager," she said.

When NV offered to give up the two tickets, Tran Thanh refused, explaining that he wanted to book the entire theater to watch the movie with his family and friends. Afterward, the theater staff offered to change the tickets to the 11:20 PM screening (only 10 minutes after Tran Thanh's screening), but NV declined.

"I don't understand why you didn't choose a later seat even though there were plenty of other seats available. The misunderstanding and accusation that Tran Thanh was favored by staff and that they didn't give you a ticket led to things escalating to this point," the manager said.

Ms. Hoa also apologized on behalf of Tran Thanh to the audience, friends, and colleagues who have always supported and loved the artist for causing them worry with inaccurate information. The artist's statement aims to help the audience understand the story objectively and receive information more selectively.

Previously, Ms. Thanh Ha - the manager of CGV Vincom Dong Khoi cinema, where the incident occurred - also stated that it was a misunderstanding.

"I would like to confirm that Mr. Tran Thanh had pre-booked a private screening for his family, and did not purchase tickets upon arrival. This did not disrupt the ticket bookings of other customers in any way."

"The cinema has scheduled the next screening only 10 minutes in advance, so customers can book tickets very conveniently. We have always provided private screening services for families, conferences, etc., and anyone can book in advance. We do not discriminate in any way," Ms. Thanh Ha informed.

Regarding customer NV, Ms. Thanh Ha, representing the cinema, called to apologize and explain, and the customer forgave her. The cinema chain hopes that the misinformation will not be taken too far, affecting the establishment and the reputation of artist Tran Thanh.
