Equipping over 2,700 students with safe driving skills.
On the morning of January 12th, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police, in coordination with Le Viet Thuat High School, organized a legal awareness campaign and provided guidance on safe motorbike driving skills for students.
Attending the program were Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ham Thang - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police; Mr. Hoang Minh Luong - Principal of Le Viet Thuat High School; along with the school's staff and teachers, and more than 2,700 students.

During the program, more than 2,700 students were introduced to basic legal knowledge about traffic order and safety, and directly participated in activities guiding and practicing safe motorbike driving skills.
Speaking at the awareness campaign, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ham Thang, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police, emphasized: Students are currently a growing group participating in traffic, while their skills, experience, and ability to handle situations are still limited. In reality, traffic accidents involving students still occur, leaving serious consequences for the students themselves, their families, and society. Therefore, disseminating legal information and guiding safe driving skills to students is an urgent requirement, with long-term and sustainable preventative significance.

The program not only helps students master traffic laws and regulations, but more importantly, it fosters good habits, skills, and a culture of responsible traffic participation. A proper maneuver, a timely reaction, or a serious act of compliance can help them avoid unfortunate risks and accidents in their daily traffic. At the same time, this activity contributes to enhancing the role and responsibility of schools, families, and local authorities in educating and guiding students to participate in traffic safely and responsibly.

During the awareness session, students were introduced to the basic knowledge of the Road Traffic Law through lively and easy-to-understand presentations linked to real-life situations. Besides the theoretical part, students also directly practiced safe driving skills on a simulated driving course, thereby improving their balance, situational awareness, and ability to identify potential hazards when participating in traffic.

The program also focuses on clarifying common traffic violations among students, such as: driving underage or without a driver's license; not wearing a helmet when riding a motorbike, scooter, or electric bicycle; running red lights, speeding, reckless overtaking, and using a phone while driving. Through specific examples and situations, students' awareness is enhanced, and they learn how to prevent and protect themselves when participating in traffic.

This is also one of the key activities of the Nghe An Provincial Police force aimed at raising awareness of law compliance and building a safe and civilized traffic environment in the community.
