CongressSportsThe 9th Nghe An Provincial Sports Festival in 2022 was organized to promote and further improve the quality of the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", "Healthy to build and defend the Fatherland, successfully carry out the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country", contributing to enriching and diversifying the activities of the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".

This congress has the participation of more than 2,000 athletes, coaches, and referees; competing in 18 sports, including: Pole Pushing, Petanque, Cross-country, Vovinam, Karatedo, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Traditional Martial Arts, Wrestling, Table Tennis, Shuttlecock, Football, Badminton, Athletics, Swimming, Chess, Crossbow Shooting, and Tug of War.

Raising the status of Nghe An Sports

Reading the opening speech of the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long stated: Following Uncle Ho's teachings, over the years, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee have regularly directed the effective implementation of the Party and State's policies and guidelines on Physical Training and Sports.

High-performance sports have made new developments, with achievements in some sports reaching regional and Asian levels. In particular, the movement of physical training and sports following the example of beloved Uncle Ho has been carried out and maintained regularly by everyone and every household.

The 9th Nghe An Provincial Sports Congress in 2022 is a major activity, arousing the potential of Sports of the majority of people in the province, encouraging all people to regularly practice sports to improve health, serve labor, study, work, build and protect the Fatherland.
