Formal and heartwarming, the "Glory of Nghe An Sports" Gala Program.
On the evening of December 30th, at the studio of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, the "Glory of Nghe An Sports" Gala program was held in collaboration with three units: Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and the Center for Training and Competition in Physical Education and Sports.
Attending the ceremony were: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Minh Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television; Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The program was broadcast live on the digital platforms of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, including the Nghe An Television Fanpage, Nghe An Newspaper, and the NTV Go application, thereby attracting the attention and viewership of a large number of sports enthusiasts inside and outside the province.

"The Glory of Nghe An Sports" is the highlight summarizing a vibrant and emotional year of competition for the province's sports. In 2025, Nghe An sports will continue to make a strong mark on domestic and international arenas, with many athletes achieving high results at the SEA Games 33, Asian and world championships.
The gala was organized to honor, appreciate, and spread the spirit of perseverance and resilience of athletes, coaches, and those involved in sports.

At the event, many outstanding athletes from Nghe An province in 2025 and at the 33rd SEA Games were introduced, interacted with, and honored. Notable among them were track and field athlete Le Thi Tuyet Mai, who won the Gold Medal in the women's 4x400m relay at the 33rd SEA Games; Jujitsu fighter Nguyen Tat Loc with one Silver and one Bronze Medal; and sepak takraw athlete Nguyen Thi My, who boasts an impressive collection of medals from national, world, and SEA Games competitions.

The gala also provided an opportunity for athletes to share their journey stories, from their humble beginnings to their triumphant moments. These stories of resilience, perseverance in training, and pride in wearing the national team's jersey evoked strong emotions in the audience.

The program also dedicated time to honoring the silent support of families, coaches, and sports administrators, thereby showing that behind every achievement lies a process of persistent training, silent sacrifice, and unwavering faith that families have in their athletes.


A highlight of the gala was the awarding of Certificates of Merit honoring outstanding athletes of Nghe An province in 2025. At the program, 31 outstanding individuals representing high-achieving athletes in various sports such as athletics, sepak takraw, jujitsu, pencak silat, diving, chess, martial arts, and football were honored. This was not only a well-deserved recognition of the athletes' efforts and dedication, but also a source of encouragement for them to continue striving and conquering higher goals in the future.
