Presenting 100 gifts to families of martyrs and youth volunteers in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 14, Tien Phong Newspaper coordinated with Tan Hiep Phat Group to organize a gift-giving ceremony for families of martyrs and wounded soldiers who are Youth Volunteers.Also attending were comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Le Xuan Son - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper.

This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Force's Tradition Day (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2017) and the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017).

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Son - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper recalled the tradition of the Vietnamese Youth Volunteer Force in general and the Nghe An Youth Volunteer Force in particular. On this land, during the two resistance wars against the French and the Americans to save the country, more than 40,000 generations of youth volunteers from the province volunteered to go to the battlefield, ready to sacrifice, overcome hardships to achieve glorious feats, making great contributions to the cause of national liberation and national reunification.

With deep gratitude to the previous generations, on this occasion, Tien Phong Newspaper cooperated with Tan Hiep Phat Group to present 100 gifts to families of martyrs and wounded soldiers who are TNXP. The value of each gift is 1 million VND.

Mr. Le Xuan Son - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper presented gifts to families of martyrs and wounded soldiers who were Youth Volunteers of 20 districts, cities and towns in the province.

The gift has timely encouraged and motivated the Youth Volunteers and former families of Youth Volunteers martyrs to overcome difficulties and rise up in life, while at the same time demonstrating the nation's morality of remembering the source of water when drinking water./.
