Presenting 100 gifts to families of martyrs and Youth Volunteers in Nghe An.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 14th, Tien Phong Newspaper, in collaboration with Tan Hiep Phat Group, organized a ceremony to present gifts to the families of martyrs and wounded soldiers who were Youth Volunteers.Also attending were Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, and Le Xuan Son - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper.

This is a meaningful activity to commemorate the 67th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Youth Volunteer Force (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2017) and the 70th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017).

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Son, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, recalled the traditions of the Vietnamese Youth Volunteer Force in general and the Nghe An Youth Volunteer Force in particular. On this land, during the two wars of resistance against France and the United States, more than 40,000 generations of youth volunteers from the province volunteered to go to war, ready to sacrifice themselves, overcoming hardships to achieve glorious victories and making immense contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification.

With deep gratitude to previous generations, on this occasion, Tien Phong Newspaper, in coordination with Tan Hiep Phat Group, is presenting 100 gift packages to families of martyrs and wounded soldiers who were Youth Volunteers. Each gift package is worth 1 million VND.

The gift served as timely encouragement and motivation for the Youth Volunteers and former families of fallen Youth Volunteers to overcome difficulties and strive for a better life, while also demonstrating the nation's tradition of remembering those who sacrificed for the country.
