Sixteen awards were presented at the Excellent Speaker and Propagandist Competition in Cluster 1 of Nghe An Province.
On the morning of May 22nd, the Organizing Committee of the 2026 Nghe An Province Excellent Speaker and Propagandist Competition held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the Excellent Speaker and Propagandist Competition, Cluster No. 1.
Attending the closing ceremony and awards presentation were Comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee; and leaders of the Party committees of the organizations with participating contestants.
The competition in cluster 1 included 34 contestants representing 34 Party organizations from communes and wards in the Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, and Vinh (former) regions, as well as Vinh University of Technology and Education, the Provincial Border Guard Command, and the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee.
After two days of competition, the Organizing Committee held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes. The competition affirmed the attention and guidance of Party committees, agencies, and units at all levels to oral propaganda work in the new situation. Although the two-tiered local government model is newly implemented and the workload at the grassroots level is very large, localities and units still proactively selected and trained contestants with a high sense of responsibility.
The 34 contestants participating in the competition are exemplary cadres and Party members directly involved in propaganda and mobilization work at the grassroots level; they are the core force on the Party's ideological front in their respective localities and units. The contestants demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of propaganda and mobilization knowledge and skills; harmoniously combining theory with practice, data with vivid examples, and the ability to spread positive influence.
The content selected for propaganda is diverse and closely adheres to the key points of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, and the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, linked to the practical realities of socio-economic development, digital transformation, administrative reform, building a two-tiered local government, building a clean and strong Party and political system, and national defense and security at the grassroots level.
The quality of the contestants' performances was assessed as good to excellent. Based on the results from cluster 1, the Organizing Committee will select outstanding contestants to participate in the provincial-level final round, contributing to improving the quality of grassroots speakers and propagandists, truly serving as a vanguard force on the Party's ideological front.
At the conclusion of the Cluster 1 competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes, including 1 First Prize; 2 Second Prizes; 3 Third Prizes and 10 Consolation Prizes. The First Prize of the Cluster 1 competition was awarded to Comrade Hoang Van Hai - Director of the Political Center of Truong Vinh Ward.
