(Baonghean.vn) - On January 13th, Nghia Dan district organized the handover of breeding cows to 199 poor households and ethnic minority households in 17 out of 25 communes and towns in the district.

Accordingly, 199 crossbred Sindhi cattle, each weighing 125 kg or more, with clear origins, healthy, and fully quarantined and vaccinated, were handed over to poor households and ethnic minority households in difficult circumstances in the district. The total cost of purchasing these cattle was 2.6 billion VND, from the Program 135 fund.

Providing breeding cattle to local people demonstrates the concern of the Party and the State for poor households, especially ethnic minority households; thereby helping families have more conditions to develop production, rise out of poverty sustainably, and contribute to the locality's completion of the national target program for building new rural areas.
