Giving 600 gifts to people in flood-hit areas of Quynh Luu

(Baonghean.vn) – Southern monks, nuns and Buddhists presented600 support giftsPeople in coastal flood areas of Quynh Luu district.

On November 18, in Quynh Thuan and Son Hai communes (Quynh Luu), the Office of the Buddhist Executive Committee of Dong Thap province, Tinh That Uy Nghiem monastery of An Giang province, Thuong Chieu Zen monastery, Long Thanh district (Dong Nai) together with monks, nuns, and Buddhists of Dong Yen and Yen Thai pagodas (Quynh Luu) presented 600 gifts, including instant noodles, rice, warm blankets, and cash, to support people and the visually impaired in some coastal communes and villages along the Quynh Luu district; to share the difficulties with people who suffered losses due to recent storms and floods.

The total value of the support gifts is 300 million VND.
