Giving calves to former Youth Volunteers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 30th, the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Con Cuong district, in coordination with the Thien Tam Fund of Vingroup, held a ceremony to hand over calf breeds to member Lo Thi Chien in Tat village, Chi Khe commune.

In 2015, the Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Group supported former Youth Volunteers in Con Cuong district with particularly difficult circumstances by donating 10 breeding cows, each valued at 18-20 million VND. Thanks to good care, 3 of the cows have given birth to calves.

The first calf was given by the District Association of Former Youth Volunteers to member Lo Thi Chien in Tat village, Chi Khe commune, with the calf valued at 15 million VND.

This is a program by the Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Group to support poor former Youth Volunteers in Con Cuong district with breeding calves to develop livestock farming. It also provides an opportunity for members to unite, share, and help each other, continuing to strive for sustainable poverty reduction through production development.
