Award Ceremony for the 'Happy Nghe An 2025' Contest
The "Happy Nghe An 2025" contest is one of three contests in different creative fields organized and awarded prizes by the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (this morning, December 25th).
The Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized an event to summarize and award prizes for the following competitions: “Happy Nghe An 2025”; “Design and creativity with the theme: Characteristic souvenir products of Nghe An”; and “Campaign to create and promote literary and artistic works on the theme “Sharing a common destiny for Vietnam”.
Attending the event were Comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, along with representatives from relevant departments, agencies, and units, members of the Art Council, the Judging Panel, and a large number of authors.

In implementing the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee's plan to promote cultural and artistic activities, and to publicize the image of Nghe An's homeland and people in the new era, the competitions organized have contributed to spreading the image of Nghe An as a place rich in identity, compassion, and aspiration for development; arousing pride in the homeland, patriotism, and civic responsibility, especially in the younger generation.
At the same time, this is also an opportunity to honor cultural and historical values; promote artistic creativity, develop distinctive products, and contribute to promoting the image of Nghe An and Vietnam to friends both domestically and internationally. After the launch, the competitions received enthusiastic participation from numerous authors nationwide.

Speaking at the closing ceremony and awards presentation, the DirectorDepartment of CultureTran Thi My Hanh, from the Department of Sports and Tourism, congratulated the award-winning authors and affirmed that the three creative activities in 2025 are not just simple competitions or campaigns, but also spaces for connecting emotions, intellect, and social responsibility, contributing to spreading the image of Nghe An as peaceful yet strong, rich in identity yet constantly innovating.

Accordingly, the organizing committee of the "Happy Nghe An 2025" photo and video contest received 570 entries, including 500 individual photos, 51 photo sets, and 19 videos. This number not only reflects the widespread impact of the contest but also serves as vivid evidence of the deep affection the authors have for the land and people of Nghe An.
The submitted works authentically and emotionally reflected the beauty of nature, working life, cultural activities, positive changes in socio-economic development, and the image of the people of Nghe An—simple yet resilient, humble yet full of aspirations for happiness. Many photographs had tight compositions and captured precious moments, while many videos were meticulously produced, with vivid storytelling and rich humanistic values.

The Organizing Committee selected 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, and 6 third prizes for the photo category, and 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and 1 third prize for the video category. In particular, the outstanding photographic works sponsored by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists further affirmed the professional quality and prestige of the competition.
In this competition, the first prize in the video category went to the work ""Drifting through the clouds"by author Nguyen Van Viet and his team; first prize in the photography category went to the work "TH True Milk Group's high-tech agricultural projects in Nghe An province.By author Le Quang Dung.
Also at the event, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for the Design and Innovation Competition with the theme "Characteristic Souvenir Products of Nghe An" - a practical activity to concretize the Project on developing souvenir products for tourism in the period 2019–2025.

At this competition, the Organizing Committee received 69 entries from organizations, businesses, artisans, and individuals both within and outside the province. The products utilized a wide range of materials such as rattan, bamboo, wood, silk, brocade, metal, medicinal herbs, and local specialties; many products bore the distinct mark of Nghe An culture and people, showcasing the creativity, dedication, and love for their homeland of the creators.
The Organizing Committee selected and awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 3 third prizes, recognizing creative ideas with potential for application and contributing to the development of a system of distinctive souvenir products for Nghe An tourism.

Along with that, the campaign to create and promote literary and artistic works with the theme "Sharing the same destinyThe "Vietnam" event was organized to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification, while also arousing the responsibility and creative inspiration of artists and writers in addressing the major issues facing the nation.
After 10 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee received 495 works from 147 authors in the fields of music, stage scripts, literature, fine arts, and photography. The works generally adhered to the theme, expressing love for the homeland and country; praising patriotic traditions, national unity, and the aspiration to build a developed and prosperous Vietnam.
The judging panel awarded 10 A prizes, 25 B prizes, and 30 C prizes to outstanding works, thereby recognizing the creative efforts, exploration, and contributions of artists and writers nationwide.
