Award ceremony for the 22nd Nghe An Provincial Youth Informatics Competition.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 8th, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Education and Training, Nghe An Telecommunications, and Vinh University of Technology and Education, held the closing ceremony of the 22nd Nghe An Provincial Youth Informatics Competition - 2016.

Attending the closing ceremony were Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, representatives of the coordinating units, sponsoring units, and a large number of parents and students.

Candidates take both a theoretical and a practical multiple-choice test.

The 22nd Nghe An Provincial Youth Informatics Competition attracted over 2,000 participants in the competition and preliminary rounds at the local level. The provincial-level competition brought together 213 students participating in both parts (general competition and creative software development). The general competition had 203 participants, including 88 primary school students, 56 secondary school students, and 59 high school students; the creative software development section had 10 entries.

Awards were presented to the first-place winners of the competition.

Awards were presented to the contestants who won second prize in the competition.

As a result of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 12 third prizes, and 39 consolation prizes; and selected 4 contestants with the highest scores from each category to be trained for the national competition held in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province in early August 2016.
