Award ceremony of the 22nd Nghe An Province Youth Informatics Competition

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 8, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Education and Training, Nghe An Telecommunications and Vinh University of Technical Education to organize the closing ceremony of the 22nd Nghe An Provincial Youth Informatics Competition - 2016.

Attending the closing ceremony were comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, representatives of coordinating units, sponsors and a large number of parents and students.

Candidates take theoretical and practical multiple choice tests.

The 22nd Nghe An Youth Informatics Contest attracted more than 2,000 contestants to participate in the contest and preliminary round at the grassroots level. The provincial contest gathered 213 students to participate in both parts (general contest and creative software). The general contest had 203 students, including 88 primary school students, 56 secondary school students and 59 high school students; creative software had 10 products.

As a result of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 12 third prizes and 39 consolation prizes; selected 4 contestants with the highest results in each group to be trained to attend the National Contest held in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province in early August 2016.
