Awards presented for the literary and artistic creation contest on building a cultured person in Nghe An.

Attending the closing ceremony and awards presentation were: Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee: Mr. Bui Dinh Long – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vo Van Dung – Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh – Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; and representatives of leaders from various departments, agencies, districts, cities, and towns.

In 2022, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to organize a literary and artistic creation campaign on the theme "Building new rural areas, building people and culture in Nghe An to meet the requirements of sustainable national development".

After more than a year since its launch, the literary and artistic creation campaign in Nghe An province has attracted a large number of professional and amateur artists from all over the country to participate.

The Organizing Committee received 367 entries for the competition, specifically: 111 songs by 64 composers in the music field; 45 works by 26 authors in the stage script field; 144 works by 38 authors in the literature field (including 16 short stories; 26 poetry collections; 1 epic poem; 41 essays; 59 prose pieces; and 1 novel); and 67 photo sets by 20 authors in the photography field.

According to the judging panel's assessment, most authors participating in the creation of stage scripts, literature, photography, and songs adhered closely to the content and themes set forth by the Organizing Committee; the content and themes focused on praising the beauty of Nghe An province, deeply and vividly reflecting a land with a rich history, patriotism, and revolution, possessing many long-standing cultural values, and inhabited by diligent, hardworking, studious, and compassionate people.

In particular, many works have captured the spirit and rhythm of contemporary life, celebrating the quintessential values ​​of the land, people, and culture of Nghe An province. Overall, the submitted works, from authors from different provinces and cities, showcased diverse styles and materials, creating a rich and varied collection that was generally quite elaborately produced.

Based on the results and recommendations of the Judging Panel, the Organizing Committee has issued a Decision recognizing the awards as follows: In the fields of stage script, literature, and photography, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 5 Consolation Prizes in each field.

In the song category specifically, since there was no first prize, the Organizing Committee adjusted the prize structure compared to the regulations, resulting in 3 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 5 consolation prizes.
