Award Ceremony for the Excellent Party Branch Secretary Competition of the Provincial Agencies Bloc

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of September 21st, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc held the Final Round and awarded prizes for the 2017 Excellent Branch Secretary Competition.

Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, including Nguyen Huu Lam - Head of the Provincial Party Organization Department, and Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, attended and presented awards to the contestants.

The competition was attended by 55 contestants from 45 grassroots Party organizations within the Provincial Party Committee of the Bloc of Provincial Agencies. The contestants went through three parts of the competition: general knowledge, situational problem-solving, and presentation in the cluster round.

From there, the competition organizers selected the 12 best contestants to advance to the final round. As a result, contestant Nguyen Minh Sam - Secretary of the Party cell of the Cadre Policy Department, Deputy Head of the Cadre Policy Department, Provincial Party Committee Organization Department - won first prize.

The contestants Tran Van Ky - Party Branch Secretary, Chairman of the Education Sector Trade Union, and Nguyen Thanh Binh - Party Branch Secretary, Head of the Party Building Department, Provincial Political School, won second prize. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 third prizes and 4 consolation prizes to the contestants.

The "Excellent Party Branch Secretary" competition is an activity aimed at helping Party branch secretaries better understand the principles, content, and professional skills of Party building work, affirming the important role of Party branches and Party branch secretaries in Party building work.

At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc also assessed the organization and operation of the Party branches and committees, as well as the capacity, knowledge, and professional skills of the Party committee members and branch secretaries; thereby continuing to develop solutions to improve their professional skills in the future.

This activity is also part of a series of events commemorating the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc (September 22, 1954 - September 22, 2017).
