Sharing love through compassionate bowls of porridge at Vinh City General Hospital.
On the morning of March 24th, at Vinh City General Hospital, the "Bowl of Love" program distributed many free bowls of porridge to patients and their families undergoing treatment, spreading the spirit of sharing in the community.
The program, organized by the Youth Union of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television in coordination with the Youth Union of Vinh City General Hospital and the Youth Union - Federation of Youth Associations of Truong Vinh Ward, is in response to Youth Month 2026, aiming to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026) and to celebrate important political events of the country.
At the hospital's porridge distribution area, a large number of patients and their families gathered to receive hot bowls of porridge. Holding a bowl of hot porridge in her hands, Ms. Le Thi Nguyet (58 years old, from Hung Nguyen commune, currently being treated in the Infectious Diseases Department) emotionally shared: "This is the third time I've received porridge from the program. Being hospitalized like this, receiving a hot bowl of porridge warms my heart. It's not just a meal, but also a great show of care and encouragement."
These simple bowls of porridge have helped patients have an extra meal each day, especially those undergoing long-term treatment or facing difficult circumstances. These portions of porridge also carry the care and sharing with those undergoing treatment.
"Bowl of Loving Porridge" is an activity implemented within the framework of Youth Month 2026, contributing to promoting the pioneering and volunteer spirit for the community among young people. Through this, the values of sharing and compassion continue to spread in social life.
