Awarding scholarships to 45 disabled students who have overcome difficulties
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 12, the Vietnam Association for Promotion of Education in coordination with the Standing Committee of the Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphans and the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education organized a ceremony to present gifts and scholarships to disabled students who have excelled in their studies in Nghe An.
The program "Giving gifts and scholarships to disabled students who strive to study well" organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education aims to encourage the spirit, help disadvantaged children integrate into the community; and add motivation to become useful citizens.

On this occasion, 45 disabled students who overcame difficulties and studied well from 15 districts and towns in the province received gifts of a warm coat and a scholarship worth 1 million VND.
Nghe An is the first province chosen by the Central Association for Promotion of Education to implement this program. It is expected that 500 disabled students nationwide will receive scholarships from the program during the 2017 Tet holiday.
