Awarding scholarships named after revolutionary Phan Dang Luu to outstanding students
On the occasion of the 123rd anniversary of the birth of comrade Phan Dang Luu (May 5, 1902 - May 5, 2025), on the morning of May 5, at Hoa Thanh Town Primary School, the Founding Committee of the program "Scholarship named after revolutionary Phan Dang Luu" in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, Yen Thanh District Association for the Promotion of Education organized a ceremony to award scholarships named after revolutionary Phan Dang Luu to outstanding students in the 2024-2025 school year.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Tran Thi Binh - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Vu Tuan Dung - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the District People's Committee; Ngo Thi Hien - Head of the District Education and Training Department; representatives of the Association for Promotion of Education, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Hoa Thanh town, the Fund's founding board and relatives of comrade Phan Dang Luu.

In this batch, 68 childrenOutstanding studentStudying at Phan Dang Luu High School, Phan Dang Luu Secondary School, Bach Lieu Secondary School, Hoa Thanh Primary School, and Town Primary School, students with registered residence in Yen Thanh district who won first prize in provincial-level excellent student competitions, national-level excellent student competitions, and international excellent student competitions have received scholarships named after revolutionary Phan Dang Luu. Each student received a certificate and a scholarship worth 1 million VND.


The founding board and sponsors have maintained the fund for 3 years (from 2023-2025), giving it once a year on the occasion of comrade Phan Dang Luu's birthday.
The scholarship aims to encourage students to continue to strive and make efforts in their studies, to nurture their dreams and noble ambitions, to contribute their intellectual strength to their homeland, and to be worthy of the tradition of studiousness of their homeland.
