(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 28th, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Dan district, in coordination with the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Loc commune, held a ceremony to hand over a solidarity house to the family of Ms. Vu Thi Thai, a Catholic resident in Vinh Giang hamlet, Nghia Loc commune.

The family of Ms. Vu Thi Thai, classified as a poor household and a family with a history of service to the revolution, has been living in a cramped, dilapidated house for many years without the means to repair it. The new house, designed to be 90 square meters in size and constructed as a single-story structure with three sturdy rooms, will cost nearly 150 million VND.

At the handover ceremony, the District Fatherland Front Committee presented the family with 20 million VND, the funds of which were drawn from the district's "for the poor" fund, with the remaining amount contributed by the family and relatives.

The support for the construction and handover of solidarity houses to poor households demonstrates the deep concern of all levels, sectors, organizations, and individuals for poor households in the district, helping families have stable housing, feel secure in their work and production, and develop their economy to improve their lives.
