Handing over solidarity houses to poor households in Quynh Luu.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 30th, the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu district, in coordination with the Red Cross Society of the district, organized a ceremony to present a solidarity house to the family of Mr. Hoang Minh Tam in Ngoc Son commune.

Mr. Hoang Minh Tam's family is classified as a poor household. At the end of 2015, his wife, Ms. Pham Thi Mai, contracted spinal tuberculosis and required surgery, costing nearly 150 million VND. With their poverty compounded by this misfortune, their difficulties have only compounded. Their house has also been severely damaged and dilapidated for many years.

Representatives of the Fatherland Front of the district presented 20 million VND to the family of Mr. Hoang Minh Tam.

The Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu district allocated 20 million VND, the District Red Cross Society contributed 10 million VND, and with the help of local departments, organizations, and relatives, the family was able to build a new house. After more than a month of construction, the 80m2, two-room, single-story house, worth a total of 150 million VND, was completed and put into use.

This was a timely source of encouragement that helped the family overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
