Handing over "Houses of Love and Compassion" to poor women in Nghia Dan.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Women's Union of Nghia Dan district recently organized a ceremony to present a "House of Love" to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Luc, born in 1957, residing in Con Ca parish, Nghia Loc commune (Nghia Dan).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Luc comes from a disadvantaged family and lives in a small, dilapidated house. Thanks to the care, assistance, and support from women's associations at all levels, local authorities, relatives, and neighbors, after nearly two months of construction, the house, with an area of 60 square meters, has now been completed.2The house, a tiled-roof structure with three rooms, is worth nearly 50 million VND. Of this amount, the District Women's Union contributed 20 million VND; the Commune Women's Union contributed 2 million VND and labor; and the remaining amount was provided by relatives.
This is a meaningful and practical action that demonstrates the concern and sharing of female officials and members in particular, and society as a whole, in eliminating dilapidated and temporary housing.
Also at the handover ceremony of the "House of Love and Compassion," the Provincial and District Women's Unions presented 12 gifts (worth 500,000 VND each) to exemplary parishioners.
