Handing over 'Shelter of Love' house to poor women in Nghia Dan

(Baonghean.vn) - The Women's Union of Nghia Dan district has just organized a ceremony to present a "Warm House of Love" house to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Luc, born in 1957, in Con Ca parish, Nghia Loc commune (Nghia Dan).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Luc has a difficult family situation and lives in a small, dilapidated house. With the care, help and sharing of women's associations at all levels, local authorities, relatives and neighbors, after nearly 2 months of construction, the house has been completed, with an area of ​​60 m2.², a thatched house with 3 rooms, worth nearly 50 million VND. Of which, the District Women's Union supported 20 million VND; the Commune Women's Union supported 2 million VND and labor days, the remaining amount was helped by relatives.

This is a meaningful work showing the concern and sharing of cadres, women's union members in particular and the whole society in general in eliminating dilapidated and makeshift houses.

Also at the handover ceremony of the "Warm House of Love", the Provincial and District Women's Unions also presented 12 gifts (worth 500,000 VND) to outstanding parishioners./.
