The Provincial Cooperative Union presented gifts to 10 families severely affected by the recent storms, with each gift worth 500,000 VND. This money was donated by officials and staff of the Provincial Cooperative Union.
On the same day, the Provincial Cooperative Union, in coordination with the Mon Son Handicraft Cooperative, inaugurated a brocade weaving class for 30 female members of Nam Dinh village, Chi Khe commune. According to the plan, over a period of two months, the trainees will be taught traditional brocade weaving techniques by artisans, creating various products such as embroidered skirts, scarves, and bags in various sizes and designs.
The Nghe An Provincial Cooperative Union is a sister organization to Chi Khe commune, jointly organizing social welfare activities; every year, the unit coordinates the organization of vocational training classes for villages in the commune, contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional crafts and economic stability.
