Presenting gifts to families of fallen soldiers in Nghe An.

In anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on March 30, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in Nghe An province, in collaboration with the Liaison Committee of Veterans of Regiment 1 U Minh - Division 330 - Military Region 9, presented gifts to the families of martyrs.

Attending the gift-giving ceremony were: General Pham Van Tra - Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former member of the Politburo, Minister of National Defense; Major General Tran Vinh Quang - Former Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Head of the Veterans' Liaison Committee of Regiment 1, U Minh, Military Region 9; and Nguyen Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs.

At the ceremony, delegates recalled the heroic achievements of the army and people of the whole country in the resistance war against the US to save the nation, culminating in the great victory of Spring 1975, completely liberating the South and unifying the country.

On this occasion, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in Nghe An province presented 25 gifts to relatives of martyrs' families in the districts of Anh Son, Tan Ky, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Hung Nguyen, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc and Vinh city.

This is a meaningful activity, expressing deep affection, gratitude, and eternal remembrance of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
