Giving gifts to support people in flooded areas of Quynh Luu
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 28, a delegation of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation led by Permanent Vice President Nguyen Ky Son came to present necessities and funds to workers in flooded areas in Quynh Luu district.

Through the District Fatherland Front CommitteeQuynh Luu, Working group ofNghe An Provincial Federation of Laborpresented 20 million VND and some boxes of instant noodles to union members and workers in localities that suffered heavy losses due to the recent historic floods in the district.

On the same afternoon, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Mai town, led by Comrade Dam Huu Hong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presented goods to support Quynh Luu district, including 100 social security gift bags and 1 ton of rice, with a total value of 45 million VND. These essential goods were distributed by the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu district to people in flooded areas in Quynh Giang commune, Cau Giat town, and Quynh Dien.

Also this afternoon, the Nghe An Police Union coordinated with the Traffic Police Department Union to organize a gift giving ceremony to support people affected by floods in Quynh Lam commune. Accordingly, 200 boxes of instant noodles and 200 boxes of mineral water with a total value of more than 30 million VND were given to the people.
The meaningful gifts from agencies in the province have contributed to encouraging and sharing difficulties for the people of Quynh Luu to make efforts to overcome the damage and soon stabilize their lives after the flood./.
