Giving Tet gifts, providing free medical examinations and dispensing medicine to the people of Nga My.
On the morning of January 9th, the Internal Political Security Department (PA03) of the Nghe An Provincial Police, in coordination with the Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television Station, and other partners including Ban Ve Hydropower Company; Vinh City General Hospital; Cua Dong General Hospital; and Duc Giang Corporation - JSC (headquartered in Hanoi), organized a program of free medical examinations, medication distribution, and gift giving for the "Tet for the Poor" in the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026 in Nga My commune.
The program aims to respond to the Prime Minister's call to "leave no one behind," while promoting the tradition of "mutual support and compassion," caring for the material and spiritual lives of the poor, policy beneficiary families, and households with particularly difficult circumstances in mountainous and border areas. It also implements the Provincial Party Secretary's appeal for support and assistance for the poor to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026; and Plan No. 468/KH-KN dated December 19, 2022, of the PA03 Department and the People's Committee of Xieng My commune on twinning in implementing the project to build "Drug-Free Border Communes" in Nghe An province.



During the program, the delegation presented many practical gifts to the people of Nga My commune. Specifically, 50 families with particularly difficult circumstances, severely affected by natural disasters and floods, received gifts worth 1.5 million VND each (including cash and goods); 140 other disadvantaged families received gifts worth 500,000 VND each. The total value of gifts sent to the people of Nga My on this occasion amounted to over 350 million VND, the result of donations and fundraising from officers and soldiers in the unit and the support of various agencies and units.




On this occasion, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to the local Party committee, government, and the Nga My commune police, demonstrating their concern, sharing, and strengthening the close relationship between the police force and the grassroots and the people.

In parallel with the gift-giving activity, at this program, Vinh City General Hospital, in coordination with Cua Dong General Hospital and the Youth Union and Women's Association of Department PA03, also organized free medical examinations, consultations, and medication distribution for approximately 200 people in Nga My commune. The total value of the medical examinations, treatment, and medication distribution was estimated at approximately 150 million VND.


In addition, the people of Nga My commune also received information and education on cybersecurity laws, contributing to raising awareness and skills in preventing potential legal violations in the digital environment.
