Responding to the call for "Tet for the Poor - Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026," the program directly presented gifts to 130 poor and near-poor households in Hai Loc commune. The total value of gifts in this round was nearly 200 million VND, including 50 million VND in cash and essential goods, healthcare products, educational bookshelves, etc., sponsored by the Nghi Loc - Cua Lo Hometown Association in Hanoi, the American-Vietnamese International Group, and the Mavin Group.

Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of the delegation affirmed that the gifts were a token of affection and sharing from those living far from home, with the wish that "every family can have a happy Tet."

On this occasion, the delegation also visited the family of Ms. Ngo Thi Tan in Bac Son hamlet, Hai Loc commune, a particularly disadvantaged household in the area. Ms. Tan, nearly 80 years old, has to raise three orphaned grandchildren. Moved by her plight, the Nghi Loc - Cua Lo Hometown Association in Hanoi presented Ms. Ngo Thi Tan with Tet gifts worth 10 million VND; they also pledged to repair her house and provide essential household items for her and her grandchildren.
