Gifts worth 30 million VND were given to Hmong women in Tuong Duong.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Women's Union of Cua Lo town and the Women's Union of the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province jointly organized the program "Accompanying women in border areas" in Tam Hop border commune, Tuong Duong district.

* On the afternoon of July 11th, the delegation visited and presented 80 gifts to 80 impoverished Mong ethnic minority women members in Pha Lom village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district; donated one breeding cow worth 10 million VND, three breeding goats worth 5 million VND to members in difficult circumstances in the commune, and many other clothes, books, and necessities, with a total value of 30 million VND.

The "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" program, launched between 2018 and 2020 by the Vietnam Women's Union in coordination with the Border Guard Command, aims to promote the tradition of solidarity and mutual support of the Vietnamese people; and at the same time, express the feelings and share the difficulties and hardships of women members in border communes, especially those in particularly difficult border areas, contributing to building strong border regions.

* On the morning of July 12th, the Women's Association of the Nghe An Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Women's Union of Cua Lo town, organized a visit and presented gifts to the families of martyrs Vieng Van Do, Vi Van Duong, and Vi Dinh Trieu in Phong village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district.
