Presenting gifts worth 30 million VND to Mong women in Tuong Duong
(Baonghean.vn) - The Women's Union of Cua Lo town and the Women's Union of the Border Guard of Nghe An province jointly organized the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" in the border commune of Tam Hop, Tuong Duong district.
* On the afternoon of July 11, the delegation visited and presented 80 gifts to 80 poor Mong ethnic women in Pha Lom village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district; presented 1 breeding cow worth 10 million VND, 3 breeding goats worth 5 million VND to members in difficult circumstances in the commune and many clothes, books, and other necessities, with a total value of 30 million VND.

The program "Accompanying women in border areas" for the period of 2018 - 2020 was launched by the Vietnam Women's Union in coordination with the Border Guard Command to promote the tradition of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance of the Vietnamese people; at the same time, expressing the affection and sharing of difficulties and hardships of women members in border communes, especially in particularly difficult border communes, contributing to building strong border areas.
* On the morning of July 12, the Women's Union of Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with the Women's Union of Cua Lo town to visit and present gifts to the families of martyrs Vieng Van Do, Vi Van Duong and Vi Dinh Trieu in Phong village, Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district.
