Presenting the appointment decision for the Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone.
On the afternoon of April 7th, the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone held a ceremony to present the appointment decision for the Deputy Head of the Board.
Attending and presenting the decision was Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
According to Decision No. 929/QD-UBND dated March 23, 2026, of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Ho Van Quynh - Head of the Industry Department, Office of the Provincial People's Committee - is appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone, for a term of 5 years, effective from the date of signing.
Following the restructuring, the leadership of the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone consists of the Chairman, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee; and 3 Vice-Chairmen: Comrades Nguyen To Long, Nguyen Manh Loi and Ho Van Quynh.
The Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone is an agency directly under the Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of direct state management over economic zones and industrial parks in the province; at the same time, it organizes the provision of public administrative services and support services related to investment, production, and business activities of enterprises in accordance with the law.
This area has been identified as a key location for attracting investment and creating momentum for the economic development of Nghe An province.
On March 27, 2026, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 490/QD-TTg approving the expansion of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone to a scale of 104,269.94 hectares, including 93,319.94 hectares of land and 10,950 hectares of sea surface, an increase of approximately five times compared to before.
