(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of September 29, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Education Promotion Association organized the program "Bridge of Love - Helping Children Go to School", giving practical gifts to ethnic minority students and students in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the new school year.

Nghe An province has more than 450 thousand team members, young people and children, including more than 10 thousand children from policy families, ethnic minority children, poor households with difficult circumstances. In recent years, the Party committees at all levels, the government, the Fatherland Front Committee, political and social organizations of the province and many philanthropists, many groups and individuals have always accompanied, supported, and presented millions of gifts worth tens of billions of VND to ethnic minority children, poor students, and children with especially difficult circumstances, in order to add spirit and motivation to help them strive to excel in their studies and training.

The young pioneers, teenagers and children participating in the program "Bridge of Love - Helping children go to school" this time were sponsored by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education, assigned to affiliated units to take charge of, care for and help. They are typical examples of children from ethnic minorities, those in difficult circumstances, orphans... striving to excel in their studies; they are fragrant flowers in the garden of "Thousands of Good Deeds".

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Mr. Tran Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Student Association, Chairman of the Youth Union Council emphasized: "The program "Bridge of Love - Helping Children Go to School" in 2023 will take place in 2 days (September 29 - 30). Children will have the opportunity to interact and participate in many useful and meaningful programs and activities, especially during this Mid-Autumn Festival. Hopefully, the program will be a beautiful and unforgettable memory, helping children nurture their passion, continue to strive to study well, and contribute to building their homeland more and more beautiful".

At the program, children lived in a warm and loving Mid-Autumn atmosphere with artistic performances, listened to the President's Mid-Autumn Festival greetings, and enjoyed lion dances and Mid-Autumn Festival feasts.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded 30 scholarships to 30 children with good achievements in the 2022-2023 school year, along with many Mid-Autumn gifts for all children participating in the program.
