Giving gifts, clothes, and warm blankets to students and people in mountainous areas
(Baonghean.vn) - Youth organizations and volunteer groups have organized the giving of warm winter clothes and blankets to students in mountainous communes of Ky Son and Tuong Duong districts.
*In Ky Son district,A volunteer organization in Vinh City has just coordinated with My Ly Border Guard Station and Bac Ly Commune, Ky Son District to donate 340 life jackets, 400 pairs of student boots and 100 pairs of teacher gloves to students and teachers of Bac Ly 2 Primary School. The total value of gifts at the program is nearly 70 million VND.

Warm gifts from philanthropists and charitable organizations help students go to school warmly during the cold winter days.
*January 1, in Tuong Duong district,The Youth Union of Quang Son Commune (Do Luong) went to Yen Huong village - the most difficult village of Yen Hoa commune, to give gifts to students and people in the village.
Currently, Yen Huong village still has electricity, clean water and a community center and nearly 80% of households are poor.

On this occasion, the Quang Son Commune Youth Union presented children and villagers with more than 2,000 warm clothes, a new mattress for the most disadvantaged household in the village, 45 warm blankets, 11 boxes of instant noodles, 160 kg of rice for households in the village, along with 24 new school bags, 357 notebooks, and 200 ballpoint pens. The total amount of money donated was nearly 44 million VND.
To get this amount of money, the Quang Son commune youth union organized fundraising activities by collecting scrap: paper, beer cans, plastic, cement bags, organizing posts calling for support on the commune union's Facebook page, individuals, widely announcing on the radio system...
