Accordingly, at 6:00 PM on June 27, 2018, in the Xieng Nua village area, Yen Na commune, the Drug Task Force of Tuong Duong District Police successfully cracked case 1218M. The arrested suspect identified herself as Dinh Thi Mai (born in 1979), residing in Hamlet 8, Xuan Hoa commune, Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province. During this operation, the police seized 126g of heroin, 8 synthetic drug pills, and 1 mobile phone.

Subsequently, at 1:30 PM on June 28, 2018, in Xieng Lip village, Yen Hoa commune, Tuong Duong district, the police successfully cracked case 1318M, arresting Ha Thi Hai Yen (born in 1984), residing in Hamlet 5, Nghia Hung commune, Nghia Dan district, and Truong Van Thach (born in 1995), residing in Team 7, Vinh Dong village, Binh Tri commune, Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province, seizing one block of heroin and one motorbike.

At 9:30 AM on July 1, 2018, in Cua Rao 2 village, Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong district, the police arrested Luong Van Dinh (born in 1972), residing in Xieng village, Don Phuc commune, Con Cuong district, and seized 265g of heroin, one K59 pistol, seven bullets, and one motorbike.

The leaders of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district commended the spirit of the district police in fighting and preventing drug-related crimes in the past period. Looking ahead, drug-related crimes will continue to be complex, and they requested the district police to further strengthen their efforts in combating drug crimes; to leverage their capabilities, resourcefulness, and courage to crack more important cases, contributing to maintaining political security and social order in the locality.
