Returned a stolen motorbike from 4 years ago to the victim

On May 20, the Traffic Police Department of Vinh City Police returned the motorbike to Mr. Pham Van Hai (residing in Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district). This is the motorbike that Mr. Hai had stolen in 2016.

Previously, while on duty at the Vinh market intersection, the patrol team of the Traffic Police Department of Vinh City Police discovered that the driver of the vehicle with license plate 36C1 - 115.18 violated the traffic law by turning without signaling, so they signaled to stop the vehicle.

Returned the stolen car 4 years ago to Mr. Pham Van Hai.

After checking, the task force discovered that the vehicle registration and license plate were not issued by the competent authority. According to the driver, he bought the vehicle from a man near his house in 2016 for 30 million VND. Because the seller had moved to another place, he could not complete the transfer procedure, so the man did not know that the vehicle registration and license plate were fake.

Through verification, the working group discovered that the license plate belonged to another vehicle. Verifying the actual engine and chassis numbers of the vehicle, this vehicle had license plate 37L1-426.66, registered under the name of Pham Van Hai, residing in Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu, so they contacted the Cau Giat town police. Through inspection, the records kept at the Cau Giat town police showed that on July 28, 2016, Mr. Hai reported that his motorbike was stolen.

After verifying that Mr. Pham Van Hai was indeed the owner of the above vehicle, the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police completed the procedures to return the vehicle to the victim.
