(Baonghean.vn) - In Mon Son commune (Con Cuong), primary school students in Bung village still cross a 3km forest path every day to get to class and return home, while students in Co Phat village are having to study in temporary houses borrowed from local people.
In the upper reaches of the Giang River in the border commune of Mon Son, Con Cuong district, there are two Dan Lai villages, Co Phat and Bung, with about 200 primary and preschool students. Khe Bung school alone (photo) has 63 students. Photo: Dinh TuyenThe classrooms at Khe Bung school are quite spacious. However, according to teacher Lang Van Hung, who has worked at this village since 2005, the school still lacks teaching and learning equipment. However, students in Con village, a residential area 3 km from Bung village, still have to trek through the forest to get to school. Most students living in Con village, a residential area 3 km from the school, start their day going to class like Tai. People are cared for in their lives, and children are educated better than before. Here, 60 primary school students are temporarily studying in houses borrowed from local people while the school in the village is in the early stages of construction. Photo: Huu Vi
