Nui Chua National Park is a popular tourist destination in Ninh Thuan province, attracting visitors with its diverse and rich ecosystem and pristine natural beauty.
Despite its low altitude of only 1,039 meters above sea level, the trek to conquer Mount Chua has challenged many trekkers due to its harsh climate and constantly changing terrain. Here, there are many trekking routes for tourists who love physical activity and exploring Ninh Thuan's nature, such as conquering Da Do Peak, Mount Chua Peak, Mount Ong Peak, Am Du Lake, and the Five-Tier Waterfall…
Below are two two-day, one-night trekking routes, with easy and advanced difficulty levels, often chosen by tourists exploring Nui Chua National Park.
Trekking VGQ Mount Chua and the Stone Park
The approximately 14 km long ride is rated as easy, suitable for those who are new to this sport.
As the only trekking route that combines both sea and mountains, this tour of Nui Chua National Park and its rock park allows visitors to admire the wonders that nature has bestowed upon the Ninh Thuan region.
“The scenery here is truly spectacular. During the trekking trip, I not only got to admire the mountains and forests of the National Park but also gazed out at the incredibly beautiful, clear blue beaches of Ninh Thuan. The experience of climbing over cliffs right by the sea left me with an unforgettable impression,” shared Quoc Thinh (Ho Chi Minh City) after his trekking trip.

Next, visitors will have the opportunity to admire the most magnificent beach on this route, Bai Thung (also known as Vung Thung). This is a pristine beach, renowned as one of the eight "fairies" of Ninh Thuan province.

Conquering the summit of Mount Chua
The Mount Chua trekking route is 22 km long. Visitors will pass through dry, leafless forests, showcasing the characteristic "scorching sun" of Ninh Thuan. This route is suitable for those who regularly participate in mountain climbing and hiking activities, at a more challenging level.

The journey isn't just about sunshine and wind. Along the route to conquer Mount Chua, visitors will have the opportunity to admire the unique layering of the vegetation in the area.
After continuing through the thorny bush vegetation, you will arrive at the cool, tranquil Lo O stream. Hidden amidst the dense forest, the Lo O stream is divided into several tiers with large, oddly shaped rocks lining both banks. Here, visitors can rest, bathe, and relax in the clear water.
Patches of humid tropical forest begin to appear as visitors move higher up the mountain. Crossing the dry vegetation, the lush green O Lim Valley unfolds. This is a land of sprawling green meadows, surrounded on all sides by towering mountain ranges.

Trekkers will quickly forget their fatigue and immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. This valley is also a popular spot for tourists to camp overnight, have barbecues, and gaze at the starry sky without being affected by light pollution.
After overcoming the challenges of the harsh climate and unique terrain during the trekking journey, visitors will reach the summit of Mount Chua (also known as Co Tuy Peak), located at an altitude of 1,039 meters above sea level. Visitors can take photos here to commemorate their conquest.
Mount Chua is located within a world biosphere reserve, therefore, to trek and camp overnight here, visitors need to be guided by park rangers or book tours with authorized operators such as Tổ Ong Adventures, INTOUR, Viet Nam Discovery Team, etc.
