Over 80,000 tourists come to Nghe An during Tet

(Baonghean.vn) - According to statistics from Nghe An Department of Tourism, in January 2017, the number of tourists to Nghe An reached 148,000, equal to 106% compared to the same period in 2016, of which international visitors reached 4,700, total revenue from tourists reached over 136 billion VND.

During the 7-day Lunar New Year holiday of Dinh Dau 2017, the number of tourists in the province is estimated to reach over 80,000, equal to 121% compared to the same period in 2016; the number of guests staying reached over 31,000, including over 850 international guests, total revenue from tourists reached over 36 billion VND.

Some of the most popular tourist attractions during Tet are spiritual tourist destinations such as Uncle Ho's hometown, Dai Tue Pagoda (Nam Dan), Quang Trung Temple (Vinh City), Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen); and eco-tourism destinations such as the tea island - Cau Cau dam (Thanh Chuong), Muong Thanh Safari (Dien Chau) ... attracting thousands of locals and tourists every day./.
