Paying tribute to beneficiaries of government policies on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
(Baonghean.vn) - This is one of the meaningful activities leading up to the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs organized by the 4th Military Region Command.
On July 17th, to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2019), a delegation from the 4th Military Region Command, led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh - Commander of the Military Region, visited and presented gifts from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the 4th Military Region Command to the Nghe An War Invalids Rehabilitation Center and the Nghe An Province Mental and Neurological War Invalids Rehabilitation Center; and also visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Cua Lo Town.
The Nghe An War Invalids Rehabilitation Center and the Nghe An Provincial Psychiatric War Invalids Rehabilitation Center are currently caring for, nurturing, treating, and rehabilitating 166 severely wounded soldiers. Throughout the course of their duties, the staff and employees of these centers and rehabilitation centers have proactively overcome difficulties, clearly defined their roles and responsibilities, and shown love, care, and support to the wounded soldiers.
