(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 19, Nghe An Provincial Police held a conference to disseminate and implement the "70-day and night" peak period of issuing chip-embedded citizen identification cards for citizens with permanent residence in Nghe An province currently residing inside and outside the province.

Accordingly, during this "70 days and nights" peak period, the Public Security of units and localities will implement the issuance of citizen identification cards (CCCD) with electronic chips throughout Nghe An province and in localities where Nghe An citizens are residing and have not been issued CCCD.

Strive to complete the issuance of CCCD cards to 100% of eligible citizens by June 30, 2023. Particularly for citizens with permanent residence in 27 border communes and communes that have been grantedclean of drugsCitizens with permanent residence in localities selected as model units for public order and urban civilization must complete the issuance of CCCD before May 30, 2023.

In addition, the police force will organize mobile teams to go to villages to issue CCCDs, working overtime, at night and on holidays. For the elderly and sick, the police force will come to their homes to issue CCCDs. Citizens with household registration outside the locality but residing in the area will also be issued CCCDs by the local police, including citizens residing in other provinces.

At the conference, the Public Security of some units and localities spoke, pointed out some difficulties and obstacles as well as set high determination to effectively implement the peak of "70 days and nights" to issue chip-embedded citizen identification cards for citizens with permanent residence in Nghe An province currently residing in and outside the province.

Concluding the conference, Major General Pham The Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police Department requested the Police of units and localities to promote their role and responsibility of "setting an example", resolutely and closely following the work of heads and heads of units in directing the implementation and implementation of the work of issuing CCCD cards; focusing on effectively implementing the propaganda work of issuing CCCD cards during the peak period from April 20 to June 30, 2023; organizing a comprehensive review and investigation of citizens currently registered for permanent residence in the area but not yet issued CCCD cards; ensuring facilities, machinery, materials and means to serve the implementation of issuing CCCD cards with the highest determination to complete before the deadline assigned by the Government and the Ministry of Public Security.
