Intensive campaign of '70 days and nights' for issuing citizen identity cards.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 19th, the Nghe An Provincial Police organized a conference to disseminate and implement the "70 days and nights" campaign to issue chip-embedded citizen identity cards to citizens with permanent residence in Nghe An province currently residing both within and outside the province.
Major General Pham The Tung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Director of the Provincial Police Department - chaired the conference. Attending the conference were representatives from several relevant departments of the Provincial Police Department and the conference was held online with police departments in districts, cities, and towns.

Accordingly, during this "70 days and nights" campaign, the police forces of various units and localities will implement the issuance of electronic chip-embedded citizen identity cards (CCCD) throughout Nghe An province and in localities where Nghe An citizens are residing but have not yet been issued CCCD.
The goal is to complete the issuance of Citizen Identification Cards to 100% of eligible citizens by June 30, 2023. This applies specifically to citizens residing in the 27 border communes and other communes where the issuance has already begun.drug-freeCitizens residing in localities selected as model units for security, order, and urban civilization must complete the issuance of their Citizen Identification Cards before May 30, 2023.
In addition, the police force will organize mobile teams to go down to the villages to issue Citizen Identification Cards, working outside of regular hours, at night, and on holidays. For the elderly, infirm, or sick, the police will go to their homes to issue Citizen Identification Cards. Citizens with household registration outside the locality but residing in the area will also be issued Citizen Identification Cards by the local police, including those residing in other provinces.

At the conference, police officers from several units and localities spoke, highlighting some difficulties and obstacles, while also expressing their strong determination to effectively implement the "70-day, 70-night" campaign to issue chip-embedded citizen identity cards to citizens with permanent residence in Nghe An province currently residing both within and outside the province.
Concluding the conference, Major General Pham The Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Director of the Provincial Police Department - requested that police units and localities uphold their role and responsibility as "exemplary leaders," and be decisive and attentive to the work of heads and unit leaders in directing and implementing the issuance of citizen identification cards; focus on effectively carrying out propaganda work on the issuance of citizen identification cards during the peak period from April 20 to June 30, 2023; organize a comprehensive review and investigation of citizens currently registered as permanent residents in the area but who have not yet been issued citizen identification cards; and ensure the necessary facilities, machinery, materials, and equipment to serve the issuance of citizen identification cards with the highest determination to complete the task ahead of the deadline assigned by the Government and the Ministry of Public Security.
