Land clearance for the North-South high-speed railway project is being implemented through Yen Trung commune.
Yen Trung commune is focusing on implementing land acquisition and site clearance work to carry out the resettlement area project serving the North-South high-speed railway project.
The North-South high-speed railway project, passing through Yen Trung commune, is approximately 4.6 km long and involves various types of land, including residential land, agricultural land, religious land, transportation land, irrigation land, cemeteries, and canals.

It is expected that 124 households will need to be relocated; approximately 450 households will be affected by the loss of their agricultural land; and 6 cemeteries, 1 ancestral church, and many technical infrastructure facilities in Hung Trung 6, 7, 8 and Hung Yen Bac 5 hamlets will need to be moved.
Yen Trung commune organized a public meeting to gather opinions on investment policies, land acquisition, supplementary cadastral mapping, current land use status, and the land area of affected households and individuals.

To date, Yen Trung commune has approved the location and detailed planning for 4 resettlement areas; signed contracts for land surveying and plot extracts, and compiled statistics on land types and land users. The land clearance council has conducted surveys and prepared compensation dossiers.

To date, in areas of the commune such as Tung Hieu, 29 out of 29 households have signed documents agreeing to compensation for land clearance; in Diep Diep area, 7 out of 33 households have signed; in Khu Bu area, 38 out of 119 households have signed; and in Dap Coi area, 20 out of 25 households have signed.
Yen Trung commune is continuing to intensify propaganda and mobilization efforts to create consensus among the people, determined to complete the land clearance work on schedule.
