On February 18th, the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Document No. 1086/UBND-KT regarding the implementation of activities related to the movement of people, vehicles, and goods through the Thong Thu - Nam Tay and Thanh Thuy - Nam On sub-border gates.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee received the following documents: Document No. 06/TTr.HP dated January 6, 2025, from the Government Committee of Hua Phan Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, regarding permission for people, road motor vehicles, and goods from Hua Phan Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Nghe An Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to cross the Nam Tay - Thong Thu sub-border gate; and Document No. 02/BLKX dated January 20, 2025, from the Government Committee of Bo Ly Kham Xay Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, requesting permission for people, road motor vehicles, and goods from Bo Ly Kham Xay Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Nghe An Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to cross the Nam On - Thanh Thuy sub-border gate.
Based on the proposal from the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs in Official Letter No. 149/SNgV-HTQT.BG dated February 6, 2025, regarding the implementation of activities for people, vehicles, and goods crossing the Thong Thu - Nam Tay and Thanh Thuy - Nam On sub-border gates, the Provincial People's Committee assigns relevant departments, agencies, units, the People's Committees of border districts, and related agencies to coordinate the implementation of inspection, control, and permission for people, road motor vehicles, and goods from Nghe An province and Hua Phan province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, to cross, trade, and exchange goods through the Thong Thu (Nghe An) - Nam Tay (Hua Phan) sub-border gate.
Inspect, control, and permit people, road motor vehicles, and goods from Nghe An province and Bo Ly Kham Xay province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, to cross, trade, and exchange through the Thanh Thuy (Nghe An) - Nam On (Bo Ly Kham Xay) sub-border gate from February 20, 2025, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and regulations.
