Mr. Bui Huu Chuong - Chairman of Thanh Yen Commune People's Committee said: After Nghe An Newspaper reported on the pollution situation in My Son hamlet, with an open-minded spirit, the locality highly appreciated the speeding up of procedures and progress to construct a drainage ditch for the people. This ditch was delayed due to problems with land procedures and funding. When the district approved the investment policy and allocated funding, the commune immediately started to do it so that the people could live in peace.
On the morning of July 28, Thanh Yen commune mobilized excavators to clear the ground at the embankments and bushes, and at the same time dug soil and made trenches to soon install drainage pipes.
