The photos in the exhibition were taken by Hao Nhien over the past seven years. |
Hao Nhien said that the 50 works on display were photographed by him over the past seven years. He didn't spend much time obtaining exhibition permits because he had prepared thoroughly for a long time. During that process, he consulted with many colleagues, trying to reconcile the opinions of the judging panel with his personal artistic vision.
Hao Nhien received great support from his colleagues, including Tran The Phong. Tran The Phong was the one who helped organize the exhibition and obtain permits from Hao Nhien.

"Creations" is the first nude photography exhibition in Vietnam. Before Hao Nhien, many photographers had applied for permission to hold exhibitions but were unsuccessful. Ten years ago, Thai Phien applied for permission in Hanoi and Hue but was rejected.
Photographer Thai Phien called the "Creation" exhibition a "fireworks" that shattered the barriers separating the audience from nude photography. "This is the first time a nude photography exhibition has been licensed, which is good news for nude photographers," he said.

Hao Nhien's photos show only a part of the female body, and the model's face is not visible. |
After reviewing several photos, Thai Phien assessed that the composition in Hao Nhien's images was gentle, with light and shadow only revealing a portion of the woman's body and not showing the model's face. The leading photographer in nude photography in Vietnam believes this is one of the reasons why authorities agreed to grant Hao Nhien a license.
