During a search of the suspect's residence, the police discovered and seized over 103 counterfeit company seals, along with numerous computers, printers, laser cutters, and other equipment used to forge seals and documents.

On August 12th, the Hanoi City Police announced that the Cau Giay District Police had dismantled a ring involved in forging seals and documents, and arrested three related individuals.

Previously, through intelligence gathering, the Cau Giay District Police discovered a group of individuals involved in buying and selling counterfeit documents, including labor contracts, salary confirmation letters, and income verification letters from companies in Cau Giay District and Hanoi City. Based on the collected evidence, the Cau Giay District Police identified the individuals involved as: Nguyen Thi Tuyet (born in 1994); Nguyen Thi Diu (born in 1989); and Nguyen Duc Hai (born in 1999, all residing in Ta Thanh Oai, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi).

The investigation determined that Nguyen Thi Tuyet was the ringleader of the operation. From around March 2024 to the present, Tuyet purchased equipment such as computers, printers, laser cutters, and stamp blanks to forge seals and documents; she then created numerous groups on Facebook to advertise services such as forging labor contracts and salary confirmations.

According to the division of labor, Tuyet would receive information from customers in need, draft employment contracts, salary confirmations, forge the legal representative's signature, and affix fake company seals to sell to customers; Hai's task was to forge the seals using a laser cutter and deliver the fake documents to customers, collecting the money and giving it to Tuyet.
