Dismantling a ring that organized many people to illegally enter and exit the country for gambling
On the afternoon of December 6, the An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Security Agency announced that it had successfully dismantled a ring that organized many people to illegally enter and exit Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia for gambling.
After a period of implementing professional measures and monitoring the situation, at around 2:10 p.m. on December 5, the An Giang Provincial Police Department of Investigation Security presided over and coordinated with other professional departments and An Phu District Police to conduct an ambush to arrest Le Phuoc Luong (born in 1990) and Nguyen Viet Phuong (born in 1985), both residing in Khanh An Commune, An Phu District, An Giang Province, while organizing the transportation of Nguyen Thanh Vinh (born in 1987) and Nguyen Thi Hoa (born in 1981, both residing in An Hoa Hamlet, Khanh An Commune, An Phu District) to illegally enter the country from Cambodia to An Hoa Hamlet, Khanh An Commune, An Phu District.
Afterwards, Vo Van Son (born in 1972, residing locally) went to the police station to surrender.

Initial investigation results determined: This is a network of people illegally traveling between Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia to enter gambling dens and cockfighting organized by Vietnamese people in collusion with each other on the territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia bordering Vietnam.
These subjects operate day and night, organizing gamblers to cross the border in large numbers over long periods of time, causing insecurity and disorder in the border area, causing public outrage.

The Investigation Security Agency of the provincial police is temporarily detaining Le Phuoc Luong, Nguyen Viet Phuong and Vo Van Son to continue investigating the act of "Organizing illegal entry and exit for others". An Giang provincial police request that the related subjects quickly surrender to enjoy leniency under the law.
