According to the South Korean military, the country is monitoring the situation in case of additional launches and maintaining readiness.
The launch took place in the context of the US and South Korea yesterday starting joint military exercises. The North Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) today also said that this military exercise violated the agreement that North Korea had reached with the parties. However, North Korea has not changed its stance on resolving issues through dialogue.
North Korea also warned it would be forced to seek a new path as it has proposed if South Korea and the United States continue hostile military actions.
