North Korea launches two unidentified 'flying objects'.
According to South Korean news agency Yonhap, North Korea fired two unidentified flying objects from South Hwanghae province into the Sea of Japan early this morning (August 6).

According to the South Korean military, the country is monitoring the situation in case of further launches and maintaining a state of readiness.
This launch took place against the backdrop of joint military exercises between the US and South Korea yesterday. North Korea's state-run KCNA news agency also stated today that these exercises violate agreements reached between North Korea and other parties. However, North Korea remains unchanged in its stance of resolving issues through dialogue.
North Korea also warned that it would be forced to seek a new path, as outlined, if South Korea and the United States continued their hostile military actions.
