Trinh Cong Son - the first Vietnamese person honored by Google Doodles
At 0:00 on February 28, Vietnamese netizens accessing Google Vietnam were surprised when the image of the late musician Trinh Cong Son holding a guitar appeared in the form of a Doodles icon.

It is known that, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the talented musician's birth, the global information search site used Trinh Cong Son's image to honor his contributions to music.
Notably, the late musician Trinh Cong Son is the first Vietnamese person to be honored by Google with a Doodles icon. Doodles are temporary replacement icons for the familiar 4-color Google text on the homepage to celebrate holidays, events, achievements and people.
Previously, Google Doodles on the Vietnamese homepage were just images recreating the Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year, Vietnamese Teachers' Day... to honor the cultural features of the S-shaped strip of land.
Trinh Cong Son was born on February 28, 1939, a musician - a giant of popular music with more than 600 works composed during his lifetime. Trinh Cong Son's music mostly talks about love and human destiny, focusing on ambiguity and fantasy, as he once shared: "I am just a wandering singer passing through this land to sing my premonitions about illusory dreams of life...".
