Special forces officers cornered a vehicle and arrested two thieves posing as Grab drivers.

Tracking two individuals posing as Grab drivers, the detectives quickly caught up, forced their vehicle to stop, and arrested both professional thieves.

On the morning of June 15th, while on patrol, police in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, noticed two Grab motorbike taxi drivers exhibiting suspicious behavior and began following them.

Upon reaching Tran Hung Dao Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, the two suspects spotted a man sleeping next to an Air Blade motorbike with the key still in the ignition, so they approached him.

One suspect pretended to ask questions to distract the onlookers, while the other suddenly jumped into a vehicle, started the engine, and sped away. Detectives observing from a distance quickly caught up, cornered the vehicle, and apprehended both professional thieves.

At the police station, the two suspects, identified as Le Thanh Thuan (29 years old) and Pham Hoa Binh (42 years old), confessed to posing as motorbike taxi drivers to commit thefts in order to avoid detection. Both suspects have multiple prior criminal records.
